ROC THE DOTS

For a blog titled "irocpolkadots," I don't actually break out a ton of polka dot pieces like I used to. My style has evolved a little since the beginning of the blog, and I've found myself grabbing for smaller, more diverse prints. There's a more sophisticated feel to the smaller patterns. Why? No friggen clue to be honest. I guess maybe because children's clothes tend to have bigger prints (ex. stripes or dots). Whatever the conscious or subconscious reason, I always feel more "grown up" - legit, if you will. It's the same way I feel when drinking black coffee vs drowning it in cream. LEGIT. Bring back the classics and keep in mind the option of polishing them up a bit.
